We opened Pizza Fried Chicken Ice Cream in April of 2020 in partnership with Ed Marszewski of Community of The Future and Chef Won Kim. We brought our Chicago Tavern Style pizza to the shop, Chef Won brought his Korean-style fried chicken and Pretty Cool Ice Cream brought their specialty ice cream bars to the mix. PFCIC has become a staple in the Bridgeport community ever since. Located next to Maria’s Packaged Goods, we share communal space, as well as two full outdoor patios, with them and Kimski. Our small indoor dining space is now open!

We have brought Chicago Tavern Style to the Western suburbs! When Kim, the last owner of Uncle Pete’s Pizza in Westmont was ready to retire, we bought the shop from her and opened Kim’s Uncle Pizza. The name, although a mouthful, was an homage to Kim herself. We inherited a 1954 Fauld’s oven; which we must say bakes the best version of our pizza thus far!
